QueueMetrics installation / Re: Live monitoring can't hear the audio
« on: January 18, 2012, 17:52:27 »
One common reason for chanspy not to work is to do this on a monitored call on an old Asterisk.  ;D
Should be fixed on 1.8+

QueueMetrics installation / Re: Configuring Agents (Elastix 2.2)

The next public version will include full tracking of so-called "friendly names" - we suggest avoiding them anyway by leaving them blank at the PBX level.

I think the issue is related to a method that is only available in Java6. So if you use RPM go for Java 6. We will use the baseline of Java 5 from the next version.

I have just done a upgrade on our Queuemetrics that runs on our trixbox PBX (CentOS). I have upgraded to latest version 1.7.1.13 using yum (yum update queuemetrics). Upgrade went smooth and no errors were shown. After the upgrade I get the following error when opening Queuemetrics in a browser (http://pbx:8080/queuemetrics redirected to http://pbx:8080/queuemetrics/sys_errore.jsp)

Nice tutorial!
I'd go for a firewall anyway, just in case  :D

Or create a new column "data5", as per QM 1.7+ default schema.

Improving QueueMetrics / Re: API for login agents on and off a queue
« on: October 25, 2011, 12:03:29 »
No it does not exist, as you could send a request to Asterisk directly to do this.
If a number of people are interested, or you have an urgent need, we could custom-.implement this.

Which version of the qloaderd are you using?

610
No, but you can use a clustered license to do just that.

We are working on a patch that will use this information where available.

Running QueueMetrics / Re: Queuemetrics Context Problems
« on: October 25, 2011, 11:57:49 »
Im not sure, Im newbie.

I would like to dial a xx to login/logout/pause/unpause direct from the phone. I have try to modify the dialplan, but I cannot figure what in doing bad.

If you are unsure about how the dialplan works, try and find a consultant that will help you with Asterisk configuration. This is not easy to learn. On the other side, I'm sure quite a number of knowledgeable people read this board.

Running QueueMetrics / Re: QM 1.7.1 Froze Today

There should be no issues with that. Try and monitor the available RAM usage by using something like:  http://queuemetrics.com/manuals/QM_AdvancedConfig-chunked/ar01s07.html#_remote_monitoring_with_visualvm

Running QueueMetrics / Re: Big queue_log file
« on: October 25, 2011, 11:53:17 »
I would never delete it (just to be on the safe side) but you can rotate it.
On the other side, if you use database storage, who cares about a 200M file on modern hard disks?
