Localhost for asterisk server
« on: June 25, 2012, 06:36:38 »
Hi, I am trying to setup asterisk server, trunk and end points. I must be entering in something wrong because the dialer status always show "DISCONNECTED" for the server.

The server settings dialog (under basic settings) asks for server address username and pass. My askterisk server address is the same address that wombat is running on. Username and pass is the same I log into centos with.

Still no connection. Any suggestions?

Thanks for opening up the WombatDialer forum! :)

The username and password are the ones you use to connect to Asterisk over AMI - see /etc/asterisk/manager.conf - give WD the full privileges.

My pleasure! Thanks for making this app available to the public. Your suggestion to look at manager.conf gave me just what I needed to connect to the server.

If you have not already done so, we suggest you upgrade to version 0.4.9 as it has quit a number of fixes and new things.

Glad to see it is connecting... when it does, you're half-way to making it work. :)
