It seems that the sessions are not reported in the agent detail report when the agent doesnt receive a call during their session... the database records match with the payroll records exactly, but the agent detail report is missing the two sessions which the agent received no calls.

This is by design, as it would be an anomaly for an agent to log in without ever being offered calls. You can turn this off using a configuration option called "raw agent sessions".

Which version of PIAF?

General Asterisk configuration / Re: Queuemetrics and Asterisk 1.8
« on: August 08, 2011, 11:57:26 »
I was able to resolve my issue by implementing the patch mentioned above for logger.c. I rebuilt and re-installed and queue_log is working as before.

We have created a sticky topic to keep track of this issue: http://forum.queuemetrics.com/index.php?topic=1327.0

A number of issues are experiencing the problem that Asterisk 1.8 is not writing the queue_log file when it has just started.

This is caused by an issue with Asterisk 1.8 that Digium is aware of and is currently tracked (but unsolved) in the Asterisk bug database:

* https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-17036
* https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-18208

We offer a couple of workarounds:

* Patch your system as described in ASTERISK-17036 or here: http://forum.queuemetrics.com/index.php?topic=1171.0
* Use the native Asterisk database logging with QM. See http://queuemetrics.com/manuals/QM_UserManual-chunked/ar01s18.html#_using_asterisk_realtime_queuelog_subsystem

See also: http://queuemetrics.com/manuals/QM_UserManual-chunked/ar01s23.html#_running_asterisk_1_8_with_queuemetrics

We will update when the issue is fixed in the main Asterisk sourcecode trunk.

I repaired/reindexed the database and it was reporting correct for two days, now it's back and the previous fix won't correct it. How am i supposed to check for records in the queue_log file?

If you run a recent Qm, there is  database inspector in the dbtest page.

Sometimes Tomcat stops responding, so it does not do a graceful stop. What the script does is basically to tell Tomcat to save everything and exit. If it does not oblige, kill -9 is your friend.

The file Asterisk is complaining about is likely the /var/log/asterisk/full file, that is not used or set by QM but by your distro.

QueueMetrics installation / Re: Yum Install Failure
« on: August 08, 2011, 11:45:20 »
I don't think that would prevent Tomcat to be started... must be one of the demo apps that ship with Tomcat that is broken, but it should not prevent Qm from running.

We are tracking this as issue #1359. Anybody else has the same issue?

Improving QueueMetrics / Re: Configuration permissions

At the moment only the reporting part is key-aware; we do not plan to change this as we are about to roll out a new way to install multiple parallel QM instances.

Thanks for pointing out.

Running QueueMetrics / Re: refresh realtime Agent page
« on: July 04, 2011, 09:59:05 »
The AGENT's page cannot be changed - but it is just meant to keep the session active. The agent should press "Refresh" to renew.
It is the realtime page that can be tweaked.

718
Yes it's so.

We fixed this. We updated the release version to 1.22.
The RPM had the same issue and is fixed as well.

You can use the Custom Reports filter to ignore such calls.
