This is at the "uber Asterisk guru" at the moment, as it requires a patch that is not readily available yet.
But as this could be a great feature, we tried to set the wheels in motion :)

General Asterisk configuration / Re: multiple Asterisk Servers
« on: April 19, 2012, 10:05:01 »
The definitive reference is here: http://queuemetrics.com/manuals/QM_UserManual-chunked/ar01s19.html

Basically:
- you set-up a qloader on each Asterisk box. Both point to the same QM database, but each uses a separate partition (e.g. P1 and P2).
- you tell QM that your cluster is built of partitions P1 and P2, and add the AMI server for each server

QueueMetrics installation / Re: Configuring Agents (Elastix 2.2)

You need to add Dummy User as a friendly name to an existing agent, e.g. Agent/101

MySQL storage and Qloaderd/Uniloader / Re: Migrate 1.6.2 1.8 Issue
« on: April 11, 2012, 13:04:11 »
You could convert it to integer, this should make it work.
Do create access indexes like the ones that are present on the queue_log table in the QM database.

501
The MIME type should override any settings from the URL, so if that is correct, that should be it.

502
Nice to see it's fixed.

503
It should already return two urls's. I don't understand if this only happens on XMl-RPC or on the GUi as well.

You need to tell QM how is your data written - but unless you convert the old data, there is no way for QM t o read the old and the new data at once. See http://queuemetrics.com/manuals/QM_UserManual-chunked/ar01s18.html#_using_the_asterisk_realtime_queuelog_subsystem

Outbound and QueueMetrics / Re: Call reports by direction
« on: April 04, 2012, 15:39:52 »
We do not suggest using the same queue for inbound and outbound, but to monitor an aggregate queue instead.

It is important that you understand how this works - QM only streams back the file Asterisk wrote. So if Asterisk wrote a file with a format that a browser does not understand, there is no way to play it in a browser.

The correct thing to do - for me - would be to recode all audio files to MP3 on the Asterisk box, so that it is aforma that works with all browsers and it is very compact. See e.g. http://astrecipes.net/index.php?n=294

507
Qm covers the reporting part, so it will do QA on all calls it tracks.

508
What do you mean by "these" ? :-)

509
This looks like a problem with your RPM distribution - basically it is unable to install the MySQL package. Which distro is that?

Running QueueMetrics / Re: update data may cost a long time

Ok but then it is normal that it takes a long time :-)
