Starting QM on Elastix 2.0.2 64-BIT
« on: October 19, 2010, 12:23:56 »
I do a yum install queuemetrics like normal but on a 64-bit machine i get the following error

Starting QueueMetrics:  The JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined correctly. NB: JAVA_HOME should point to a JDK not a JRE

Am i mistaken cause I thought queuemetrics-java-1.6.0_20-20 takes care of that when installing. Can anybody shed some light and assist

Thats be cause we still do not have a 64 bit version of the RPM. You should install a copy of Sun's JDK manually and link /usr/local/queuemetrics/java to it. We are going to release a 64-bit RPM soon.

(we track this as issue #1178)

We just shipped the 64-bit RPMS. See here and please confirm it's working: http://forum.queuemetrics.com/index.php?topic=1046.0

Please keep in mind that I was not the OP. Hopefully s/he can confirm that their installation is now working after removing the queuemetrics_java i386 packaged in installing the x86_64 package?
