newbie - question on wall boards
« on: July 29, 2009, 17:16:35 »
Hi...we are a small operation and just require the wallboard to show when calls are waiting, and this will just be on the DTL's PC for quick reference until we set up a screen. Is there any way of stopping the screen from moving when there are more than two agents on calls so that we can just see the number of calls waiting?, we're not worried about any further information at this stage.

Thanks
Deece

Hi,
I think you can do a it by yourself.
With QueueMetrics is possible to retrieve information about queues and present it in a customized way.

Please look at:
Chapter 13. Automating statistics download: the ROBOT profile (page 77) or Setting up a self-service wallboard (page 79)
in the QueueMetrics Users Manual you can find at http://queuemetrics.com/download/QM_UserManual_152.pdf

Another way is to implement a set of PHP pages that fetches data through the XML-RPC services and display in a more customized way. You can have more details on http://queuemetrics.com/download/QM_XML-RPC_manual_151.pdf

Regards,
Marco Signorini.

See also the XML-RPC forum here, there are a number of user-contribuited wallboards as well.
