I was thinking that this would lessen garbage collections and thence make reading quicker.
There must be a timeout somewhere?

347
It is scheduled for the next release

348
What is the error msg you are having?
Did you try the connection tester?

349
How much memory does QM have? how many result rows is this query?

General Asterisk configuration / Re: Tracking MOH in Asterisk
« on: January 15, 2013, 12:04:57 »
Just to keep you posted on what is going on: the patch was substantially modified and was resubmitted on Jan 11, 2013.
If you are interested in this feature, you may want to follow what is going on at https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-20742 and help testing or just let us know what is going on.

Scripting QueueMetrics / Re: Outbound Calls
« on: January 07, 2013, 12:42:08 »
Not natively - but we plan to implement that.
What are you trying to achieve? WombatDialer might be an option if making sets of calls.

352
On the agent's page you only see atomic queues not composite queues.

353
QM does not care about how many queues you have or if an agent is shared on multiple queues.
This said, I think I did not understand the question. Can you post some screen-shots of what is happening?

355
You just drop the indexes and re-create them. MySQL sometimes notices a corrupted index and silently tries working around the problem by reading all data in a table scan.... but performance gets awful.

356
The error you are having looks like an awful "slow query" where MySQL does not even start sending data before the timeout. You may want to avoid this by setting "enableQueryTimeouts=false" but this is frankly the first time I hear of such an issue.

Makes me think that e.g. your MySQL table has corrupted indexes, as all Qm activity is indexed so it should never have a huge timeout while MySQL is "thinking".

QueueMetrics installation / Re: Error in Transaction handler

This is OK for a session timeout .as when the session is no longer present the "user" has no keys.

QueueMetrics news / New KeyRing version out - update required
« on: December 10, 2012, 18:03:00 »
Hello All,
the current version of the Loway Keyring needs to be updated in order to be kept working past January 2013. A new version 0.2.2 is available now on the public RPM repositories.

After the RPM upgrade, copy the file web.xml.ORIG to overwite the current web.xml and restart.

The Keyring is also available in TAR.GZ format for installation on non-CentOS systems, e.g. Debian / Ubuntu. Just send an email to the support team.

Complete details on the Keyring are available from http://queuemetrics.com/keyring.jsp

Running QueueMetrics / Re: Campaign dialers for QM and Freepbx
« on: November 28, 2012, 13:15:59 »

Loway offers the WombatDialer http://wombatdialer.com that is meant as an automated dialer - you could set this up with a campaign for each agent, and you could use an HTTP API to tell the dialer to "queue" a number for the agent. Of course it works well with QueueMetrics.

Could you elaborate a bit more on:
- the workflow
- the size of the call-center
- where number lists are currently held
- what would be the retry policy - what happens if the number is busy? does the agent need to dial numbers one by one, or could they (like) create a small batch of calls for the day and then the dialer connects the numbers as they are free?
