Backup and archiving
« on: April 23, 2013, 15:10:42 »
Hi there,
I am new to Queuemetrics. Amazing system, but a lot to learn still.
What is best practice to backing up the entire system as well as reports and recordings to be able to archive these and access them down the line when required?
We are required to keep a 5 year history.
Thanks!

I'd keep the backup of the database plus a backup of the audio files. See http://www.queuemetrics.com/faq.jsp#faq-044-backup

Thanks.
Are there no plans to integrate a backup / export / archiving functionality within QM? Seems like the obvious thing to have?

In fact QM has call export functionalities - see http://queuemetrics.com/manuals/QM_UserManual-chunked/ar01s23.html - this is used generally to send batches of calls to clients for further inspection.
