Group status indicator in taskbar
« on: February 05, 2016, 13:26:48 »
Hello,

Ive been working at a reasonably chaotic helpdesk for a few months now.
We have to log out of the call group every time we are not behind our desk, also if we miss a call or are calling customers, we get logged out of the group. This is all policy. This is all working pretty good, the problem is people are constantly forgetting to log back in.  :D
As a newcomer i was wondering if theres a way for every agent to see at all times some sort of indicator if he/she is still logged in/available? Not something in a window but  something like an icon in the taskbar that changes color when in of out of the call group. Maybe a little tab at the side of the screen..

Also, are there keyboard shortcuts for logging in and out of the group.

Hi mustis,

how do you log in ? Are you using the QueueMetrics agent's page?

Hello Mirkox,

We are using the queuemetrics agent's page in combination with Mitel IP phones.
It is possible to alt-tab to the page and check for the status but it much more convenient to have some kind of status icon which is visible at all times.
