Title: Monitor 'Non Queue' Calls
Post by: mattdarnell on October 15, 2010, 09:41:05
Aloha,

If a user receives an intercom call or someone calls their DID number, is there a way to show them as busy on the real time display?
We would also like then to show busy if they make any outbound call.  I know you can create other queues for outbound campaigns, but these could be intercom calls.
Asterisk shows them as busy with 'queue show' displays them as in use.

Now, they are only shown as busy if they receive a queue call.

Yes it is possible, but you have to write an appropriate log on the queue_log file, just like it's done to track outbound calls.

Thanks, I will check that out.

Are there plans for Queuemetrics to monitor the AMI port so it can pick up those types of events automatically?

Not at the moment; the idea being that you choose what to monitor of the overall PBX activity.
