Title: Qloader optimization
Post by: bhenry on October 01, 2008, 19:20:00
Qloader is working great and really brought down my cpu utilization on my Asterisk server ( as I was previously using NFS mounts) but the CPU utilization on my Queuemetrics server (They are seperate) is maxing out!  mysqld is spiking to near 100% cpu utilization and Queuemetrics is unable to preform reporting longer than 7 days.  I just did a basic install of qloader with 1 partition.  Any ideas on how to optimize performance?

Try giving QM more RAM to run into (see the FAQ @ http://queuemetrics.com/faq.jsp#faq-003 ) - high CPU spikes are likely the garbage collector doing overtime :).  The MySQL JDBC driver is quite memory-hungry if compared to the flat-file driver (but we're working on it!).
