Hi,
after upgrading to 1.4.7 from 1.4.4 the possibility for listening to recorded calls is lost. I cannot listen to recorded calls even though they are there.
I used qm_show_files.do and the files are there!
Also another strange thing is after downloading and installing 1.4.7 , the license info gives me the below:
Software release: Loway QueueMetrics - 1.4.4

It seems that the file is found but the URL does not show up in the new popup window so i can listen to it..
-
Can you post a screenshot of the popup? it really looks like the file is found. Mybe it just hides because the popup is too small for your fonts/browser settings?
-
Hi,
here is the snapshot.

Does your user have all required kays as per http://queuemetrics.com/manuals/QueueMetrics%20User%20Manual%20147.htm#_Toc209947486 ?
-
Hi, I have tried with both an admin user, and a user with ALLKEY and CALL MONITOR key.
-
What do you get if you run the qm_show_files.do transaction as described?
-
I get a really big list of filenames. Here is the start of the page
Show filesystem
This page is a helper to trace the content of available directories under the "default.monitored_calls" parameter.

Anyone else having this issue? The users are getting really upset here...
They are probably setting up a lynch mob right now!
-
It looks like the data is actually there. Anybody else has this same problem?
Please send over:
- a complete dump of your database
- a tar of your running web application (so we have licence and configuration)
this way we can try and see what goes wrong.
Please send them to Loway - tell it's issue #555
-
Hi,
i have sent the reqistered info to queuemetrics (at) loway dot ch but the mail keeps coming back because the mailbox is full!
I am eagerly waiting for news.
thanks!
-
You are right. Please try againg in an hour or so -we are checking what went wrong.
UPDATE:
The mailbox is working now.
-
Files sent via mail succesfully today!
I guess you cleand up your inbox! ;D ;D ;D
-
Yes exactly. It seemed to work just fine for regular email, but your mailings were just too big for the remaining space ;)
-
Hi,
Did you find out anything using the files i sent?
-
Hi.
I've replicated the problem on our servers with the installation files you provided. Thank you!
I can confirm that the fix will be ready for the QM 1.5.0 that will be released in few days.
Thank you for the feedback.
Marco Signorini.
-
Hi,
I've investigated a little bit more about the problem you reported.
Inside the tar file you sent us there are two different QM releases mixed together, probably as a result of an uncompleted upgrade procedure. This, for sure causes not only the problem you signal here, but more subtle problems that are not easy to understand and find.
I strongly suggest you to have a complete reinstall of QM, deleting the version you have not and installing the 1.5.0 already released.
Please, don't forget to backup the database and your custom configuration files (web.xml and configuration.properties) in order to apply to the new installation the key values you changed for customizing your QM copy.
Let me know what you'll have.
Thank you.
Marco Signorini.
-
I will probably be doing the upgrade tonight. Will let you know how it goes.
-
Thanks.
-
Hello and Happy New Year!
Sorry but i forgot to send a reply after the upgrade... :P
It solved the problem as predicted.
Thanks for the support!
